THE FOUNDER’S STORY

WHY I STARTED.

I don’t know about you, but I reached a point where the world just started feeling heavy.

Everywhere I looked, there was negativity. The news, social media, everyday conversations. It seemed like everybody was angry, divided, frustrated, or complaining about something. And if I’m being honest, it was starting to wear on me.

Then I started thinking about something.

Have you ever bought a car and suddenly started seeing that same car everywhere? There’s actually a name for that. It’s called the Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon, or the Frequency Illusion. Once something gets your attention, you begin noticing it more often. It’s not necessarily happening more. You’re just seeing more of what you’re focused on.

And I wondered, what if we did that with good?

What if we intentionally looked for kindness, generosity, encouragement, and people helping people? Would we begin to recognize more of the good that’s already happening around us?

And then I had an even bigger thought.

What if we didn’t just look for good? What if we became part of it?

That’s where JUST. DO. GOOD. began.

Not because I believe I can change the entire world or fix everything that’s wrong with it. But because I believe every one of us can make a difference in the little corner of the world we occupy.

A kind word. A helping hand. A moment of encouragement. A simple act that reminds somebody they matter.

Small things? Absolutely. But small things have a way of adding up to something much bigger.

That’s why this movement is built around four simple actions:

SEE GOOD. SPEAK GOOD. DO GOOD. SPREAD GOOD.

Because the more good we notice, the more opportunities we have to encourage it. And the more good we put into the world, the more opportunities we create for others to experience it.

I’m not asking you to change the world.

I’m simply inviting you to make somebody’s world a little better.

Start where you are. Do what you can. And don’t underestimate the difference it can make.

JUST. DO. GOOD.
